Leia (pronounced lee-uh, not to be confused with the Princess Leia (lay-uh) spelling) likes to describe herself as a nerd (one who writes essays and makes videos on her favorite media for fun), goof, and magical girl — who is always doing something. She is a voice actress, creative (writer/artist), gamer, and proud cancer survivor who has unabashedly embraced her passion for storytelling and creativity, to become the freest version of herself (read: the version of herself that her 11-year-old self would’ve thought was cool). If she isn’t reading (fiction and manga are very common), writing, baking, thrifting, or drawing, she’s catching up on her backlog of video games, TTRPGs, movies, and TV/anime episodes. She’s worked many gaming, anime, and pop culture conventions (often working with VIP guests and/or developers/companies) and hosted a multitude of online and in-person events surrounding fandom and other shared interests. The joys of her work come from ensuring that everyone is seen, heard, and makes the most of their time, as time is an irreplaceable resource (and she knows what it is like to not see yourself reflected or welcomed in spaces). Between those two ideals, and her own belief that fandom should be a welcoming, inclusive space, she is excited to join the Fangirl Fetes’ team to help support their VIP guests and overall event experience!
